The IRC building will be closed from May 25th - June 5th for building electrical maintenance. There will be no checkout or return appointments during that time.

Appointments on Mondays And Wednesdays: From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
All equipment checkouts will be by appointment only. Please check back here for updates.
SUMMER SESSION: During Summer/Winter sessions, All students will be asked to provide proof of enrollment before any bookings are honored. A staff member will reach out to your sjsu.edu email to request a screenshot of your class schedule, to verify your enrolment in the active session.
Laptop checkouts will be conducted outside of the Connect2 Booking System. Laptops are still available for immediate in-person checkout at IRC 112 for all Faculty & Staff & (temporarily Students). All other equipment will still be available for checkout through Connect2 until further notice.
STAFF FACULTY checkouts will continue for items essential for distance learning on a first come first served basis: laptops & chargers, webcams (limited qty), document cameras(limited qty), USB microphones (limited qty).
STUDENTS due to the emergency situation, temporary changes have been made to the standard 2-day booking rule allowing for longer checkouts for all equipment essential for distance learning on a first-come-first-served basis.
RETURNS will be due back per the notice your receive from staff during the booking process. Keep in mind that your designated return date is subject to change depending on the development of the shelter at home order.
- IRC: If you have checked out equipment directly from the IRC, It will be due back: Monday, June 1, 2020. This is a projected date, which may be subject to change based on the shelter at home order. Please do pay close attention to the "announcements" section on our checkout home page for any updates.
- MLK Library: If you checked out a laptop or equipment directly from the MLK library, you must return it to the MLK library by August 31st, 2020. If you have checked out MLK equipment and are graduating, please contact the library immediately.
*Please be sure to backup all your important files, as our laptops are installed with DeepFreeze and your information will not be saved if the laptop is restarted.
